adobe-developer-thinking-about-a-career-teaching-application-developmentTitle: Adobe Certified Instructor / Consultant

Employment Type: Part time hourly

School: On3 Inc.

Salary: Market wage depends upon experience.

On3 helps companies grow their own experts from within. And we follow this advice ourselves when we develop our instructor candidates and consultants. We are one of the top Adobe Authorized Training Providers in North America in our area of expertise. We have taught hundreds of developers to use best practices and rapid application development for the Flash Platform over the years. We are different from other consultancies and training companies because we use real-world developers who are also dynamic instructors. We are focused on our client’s success by teaching the tools and encouraging self-sufficient methods for all development teams. Our classrooms and audio-visual equipment are state of the art and our style is not only professional & effective, but also fun and friendly. Currently we are seeking a seasoned Rich Internet Application (RIA) developer who has experience writing code and also directing other developers. This opportunity is ideal for a former development manager who has experience on-site in front of clients. With this opportunity, you can continue to develop RIAs, lead teams, consult, and teach in just the hours most available for you. Teach as much or as little as you prefer! Some of our current teachers & consultants schedule their On3 classes and consulting around commitments made to their other clients or employers. Paperwork, meetings, and administrative tasks are not typical for our instructors. We just need our teachers to prepare our students to learn the Adobe SDKs thoroughly from a practitioner’s standpoint which will allow motivated students to pass the Adobe certification exams and that is it. Instructors are reimbursed for any miscellaneous expenses and overnight stays when client needs require working on-site and travel was not arranged. Additionally, all of our instructors report to our principal instructor and will not have any management responsibilities. For Adobe developers who love teaching, this is one of the best teaching opportunities out there!
