Giant Blue Bear

He is located at 700 14th Street Denver, CO 80202 and he is constantly watches everything that goes on inside the Denver convention center. Take your picture in front of him.

Mojito

The Samba Room, 1460 Larimer Street, Denver, CO 80202. Their Mojito is made with a stalk of sugar cane in the glass. Cuban Cuisine, Latin music & fun!

Live Jazz

El Chapultepec, 1962 Market Street, Denver, CO 80202. This is Denver’s best Jazz club. The club features new upcoming Jazz combos as well as big name Jazz acts looking to bolster their “street-cred” for playing tiny but cool Jazz clubs. Hot Jazz and cool drinks have been the theme for this club for well over 50 years.

Martini

The Cruise Room, 1600 17th Street Denver, CO 80202. Just off the main lobby of The Oxford Hotel is the legendary Cruise Room Martini Bar. The Cruise Room is downtown Denver’s first bar and opened the day after Prohibition was repealed in 1933. Boasting Art Deco décor, this bar is original in its entirety. The Cruise Room was fashioned after one of the lounges on the Queen Mary. Original chrome and neon reflect onto the wall panels depicting light-hearted “toasts” from around the world.

Light Rail Tour of Downtown Denver

Board the Free 16th St Mall Shuttle west toward Union Station. Buy a Light Rail pass to ride on the C (Orange) or E (Purple) lines to ride past Elitch Gardens & Pepsi Center, Invesco Field at Mile High, and Auraria West Campus. Disembark at 10th & Osage. Take any color train going in the opposite direction (the other side of the platform) & exit at the 16th St Mall station. Disembark from the Light Rail train & board the 16th St Mall Shuttle toward Civic Center Station to depart at Cleveland St (On3).

Breakfast Burritos

• Egg, potato, cheese, and green chili breakfast burritos available from the vendor (silver cart) on the SE corner of 16th St and Broadway. Walk out the front door of the On3 building and look across the street.
• El Azteca is in the food court under the Republic plaza on the garden level of 370 17th Street. They sell egg & potato breakfast burritos smothered in green chili & cheese. Walk west on the 16th St Mall 2 blocks & take the escalator or stairs down 1 level.
