Train Your Own Team of Software Developers
Once you have hired the right developers who fit your culture and the work style for your team, just add the skills classes. We have found that hiring a brilliant software developer who knows object oriented tools, scripting, and procedural programming is often a better choice than hiring a less talented candidate just because they are available, affordable, and happen to have used the chosen API on a recent project. Over a developer’s career, he or she may become proficient in ten different development toolkits or more. The pace of change in software tools and the developer’s ability to adapt to learning a new environment and tools will continue to evolve rapidly. At the start of a new software project, have On3 send a instructor to your site to train the entire team up to a minimum skill level. This allows everyone to be exposed to a baseline of knowledge. Each member of the team can start to contribute to the meetings, participate constructively, and perform their share of the Flex development work. Onsite classes can be customized to add or remove topics as needed for your project so software projects stay on track.
Following group training, teams can request for the On3 instructor to stay assigned to the project. This one-on-one team mentoring helps get each developer started on their new projects with initial success. The mentor can contribute and participate in the development planning meetings, help set up projects for the recent students, and review the newly written code. This helps each developer learn to write correctly written code from the start without setbacks normally experienced as part of the learning curve. 
On3 provides public training with a live instructor in our classroom in beautiful Denver, Colorado. Students who wish to join each live class as an online student can by entering On3’s Adobe Connect room. Our classes run from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm MST (UTC – 7:00) so online students in different time zones will take their training and adjust accordingly. Online students can also join group training given to teams onsite if travel is inconvenient or impossible. Our instructor’s recent field experience on software projects makes On3’s training superior to those who haven’t used the technology personally.
